Privacy Policy

Omnia Data Analytics LLC (“we”, “our”) operates LiveStreamCC. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and how it’s used.

What we collect

Account. To create and secure your account and enforce plan limits, we collect your email address, a securely hashed password, and your email-verification status. If you sign in with Twitch, Google, or a passkey, we receive your email address and an account identifier from that provider. We also record how many seconds of captioning you use per day and month, and a device fingerprint hash that helps prevent abuse of the free tier.

Audio, transcription and translation. To turn speech into captions, the audio from the source you select is streamed through our backend to a third-party speech-to-text provider while your session is live. If you enable translation, AI summaries, or similar features, the resulting caption text is sent to a third-party AI provider to produce the translation or summary. Audio is processed to provide the service, not to build advertising profiles.

Transcripts. By default, transcripts are saved locally on your own device rather than on our servers, and you can delete any transcript at any time. On paid plans you can optionally turn on cloud sync, which stores your transcripts on our servers (encrypted at rest) so they follow you across devices — you can turn sync off, set transcripts to auto-delete on a schedule, or delete them individually whenever you like.

Payments. Paid subscriptions and top-ups are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; we store only your subscription status, plan, and billing history. Stripe's handling of your data is described in Stripe's privacy policy.

Diagnostics. The app can send crash reports and basic usage telemetry so we can find and fix problems. Both are controlled by toggles in Settings → Privacy and can be turned off at any time.

Email. We send transactional email only — verification links, account recovery, billing notices, and referral invitations you explicitly ask us to send. We track delivery failures so we stop mailing addresses that bounce.

Provider keys. If you choose to supply your own speech-to-text provider API key, it is stored encrypted, and you can remove or replace it whenever you like.

How we use your data

Only to operate, secure, and improve LiveStreamCC. We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party ad networks.

Your rights & controls

Directly in the app you can: export a complete copy of your data (Settings → Privacy → “Download all my data”), delete individual transcripts or all of them, and delete your account. Account deletion has a short grace period during which you can recover it from the email we send; after that your personal data is permanently scrubbed.
