About LiveStreamCC

LiveStreamCC is a desktop app that adds real-time subtitles to live streams. Plenty of streams go out with no captions at all, because the usual setup is too technical, too expensive, or too unreliable to bother with — and viewers who need captions are simply left without them.

The app listens to audio on your own computer — your microphone when you broadcast, or your system audio when you watch — and transcribes it into captions as the words are spoken. You can style those captions, send them to OBS or a floating overlay, and keep the full transcript when the session ends.

What makes LiveStreamCC different is that it works from both sides of the stream. A creator can caption their own broadcast, and a viewer can caption a stream that ships no subtitles of its own. Either way, the captions run on your machine, with clear free daily limits and no complicated routing to set up.
